Meet the Visionary Behind Head Start: Shivad Singh
Shivad Singh is the visionary founder and CEO of Head Start, often described as the ‘Netflix for Education.’ From an early age, Shivad dedicated himself to transforming the education system, launching his first company, Presto, when he was just 19. Today, he leads Head Start with a clear mission: to create accessible and innovative educational products that empower young learners to thrive in a digital world.
Shivad has built partnerships with some of the largest corporations in Africa and leading global edtech companies. His accolades include winning various social innovation awards and being recognized as a News24 Young Mandela of the Future and a Queen’s Young Leader. In his spare time, Shivad enjoys making humorous TikToks and practicing Tai-Chi. Despite his love for innovation, Shivad might be the only Indian who avoids cricket and spicy food, always opting for lemon and herb at Nando’s.
